My mission is to give you an insight into the beautiful art of Silat Fitrah, the Malay Art of Natural Self Defence.
Each course is taught in an easy to learn format and is specifically designed so you can learn at home and practice on your own.
I have been a private student of Guru Tua Chris Parker for 30 years and learning the art of Silat Fitrah has completely enhanced my life.

Volume 1.
Developing Great Footwork
Great footwork is an essential attribute for all martial artists.
The ability to feel the planet with our feet and use this to drive and direct movement underpins everything we do.
Great footwork:
When I first began to feel the planet beneath me and learnt how to drive movement from it, the power in my strikes and the understanding of how to move my body correctly improved massively.
Consequently, I always begin my students’ Silat training with the footwork drills I am sharing with you in this course.
The drills are ideal when training alone and, if practised regularly, will build a solid and strong foundation.
Having great footwork will improve your physical awareness and striking power as well as your offensive and defensive capabilities.
What You Will Learn
Training alone has always played an important part in my martial arts development.
With the world still coming to terms with the challenges posed by Covid -19, the need for progressive solo training drills is increasingly apparent.
