In this series I will teach you:
I have been a private student of Guru Tua Chris Parker for nearly 27 years, learning the art of Silat Fitrah has completely enhanced my life. I hope in some way it also helps to enhance yours.
Elements of Silat Fitrah - Elbow Strikes
‘If The Elbows Could They Would’
The elbow form teaches us to deliver a wide range of elbow strikes in all directions, and how to defend against incoming attacks and clear barriers.
The focus is on contraction and expansion, understanding elbow range, and the development of devastating attacks.
The elbows are 2 of what we call the ‘Big 4’ in Silat Fitrah.
In a close-range self defence situation, elbow strikes are an ideal response. That is why learning how to strike hard with elbows is a must for all of my students, young and old.
